Their presence implies my new beginning,
‘Good morning, teacher’; the
warmest greeting,
The innocent smile that’s so soothing,
Everyone was surprisingly welcoming.
A week of SBE was indeed exhausting.
But never planned on being sad about leaving.
The ringing sound of the school bell,
‘Thank you, teacher’ which indicates
farewell,
O it’s not cool that my tears fell,
To be seen by little angels who
behave well,
But is it okay if I yell?
I’m so happy, I’m excited to tell!
What a great feeling when the pupils welcome us with the warmest smile. Good job on writing this beautiful poem!
